Walk Band is a mobile application developed by Revonulet. This free tool enables users to turn their smartphones into miniature music instruments. It provides you with all the basic instruments needed for a band.

Walk Band offers a plethora of options for each instrument it provides. More than that, it allows you to record multiple tracks, whether audio or MIDI. Even better, it comes with pre-loaded songs, which you can practice playing. However, the app comes plagued with bug issues that sometimes change the sound of the instruments when converted into MP3. Worse, it sometimes has problems converting music.

What is Walk Band?

Walk Band is a free music app, which comes packed with instruments and nifty features. As mentioned, it has basic instruments needed for a band. The piano allows you to play a simple or double keyboard. It also comes with five different key sounds, including a music box, organ, Rhodes, and synthesizer. The guitar, meanwhile, includes acoustic guitar, a Saxon guitar, and an electric guitar, with chords mode or solo.

Like the guitar, you can play the bass in chord mode or solo. It also includes acoustic bass, marcato, and slap. On the other hand, the drum lets you play jazz, hip-hop, percussion, and disco music. It also allows you to choose the pad mode that suits your playing style. Finally, the drum machine lets you create your rhythm and control the pitch and speed.

The app  also has a multitrack synthesizer that lets you create music with the mentioned tools. With this, you can mix them into a single audio file. Moreover, there are different options for each track, including quantization, transposition, track volume, and change instrument. However, as mentioned, this feature comes with bugs that sometimes change the sound of the instruments. Additionally, some tracks are missing when converting to MP3.
